With the lovely weather, many of us are enjoying time outdoors and leaving windows and doors open to keep cool. Please take a moment to consider your home security:

Keep your property secure

Always lock doors, even if you’re at home or just in the garden. Open windows and unlocked doors can make homes an easy target

Avoid leaving windows fully open and unattended, especially on lower floors

Use window restrictors where possible

Keep valuables out of sight from windows

Look out for each other

Report any suspicious behaviour in your area

Keep an eye on neighbours’ properties, especially if they’re away
